Past Day in the Life clients of mine called me to see if I'd like to do their newborn portraits at their home in Suffolk, Virginia.
I'm not sure there's a much better way to spend a day than cuddling a sweet newborn baby, don't you think? I think it's a little slice of HEAVEN!
Their home is warm and welcoming. The nursery is a perfectly crafted room that compliments who they are as a family. Beautiful shades of blue and the most thoughtful vintage touches.
I could see how proud they were of their sweet baby boy and I could see how much love they shared. It was one of the most heartwarming scenes I had ever seen in my life.
Sometimes, you're just so happy and so full of love, you've got to sit back and just take it all in.
I think choosing to have newborn photos done in home is a really intentional choice. You're making the choice to document those first days, making a deliberate decision to include your home as the background of your story. You're building a legacy from the start.
